Benefits of Joining
Joining our ACO opens the door to many free services for your office and patients. When you decide to be part of Akira, our team will be ready to help your office in any way possible. We have a staff of nurses, social workers, medical assistants, and administrators ready to help your practice reach its full potential. We help manage high-risk patients, monitoring their pre-existing and chronic conditions, and inform you of any major problems that may occur. Through our physician portal, you will be able to view our care coordination notes and quality measures for each patient. You will also be able to see all financial information that is accumulated during the care for each patient. At the end of the year, our staff will also collect and submit the quality reports to Medicare for you, fulfilling your Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) requirements and preventing the associated MIPS reductions. By keeping your MIPS up-to-date, your practice will be eligible for Medicare’s Shared Savings Program and may receive extra revenue.

Webinars
Board meetings are an important part of our organization. During the meetings we discuss what is going on in our ACO, important changes in Medicare rules, and what we need to do to make the organization more successful. Your presence is an essential key to help our company prosper.
We understand that sometimes you may be too busy to attend meetings in person. To make it more convenient for you, we offer webinars for you to be able to log in and be a part of the meeting. We feel that keeping you informed and having you participate is very important.
